A solid walnut cutting board, handmade in my shop in Val-d'Or, Quebec. It's one of a kind: the board in the photos is the one you get.

  • Oil and wax finish

The wood

Walnut across almost the whole surface, with accent strips of maple, mahogany and cherry. The strips run lengthwise, so the walnut grain flows from one end to the other. The logo is engraved in one corner.

Why it costs more than a grocery store board

Thickness. At 1.25 inches of hardwood, the board won't crack or warp like thin boards do. And at 3.68 kg, it stays put while you work on it.

Care

Wash it by hand with warm water and mild soap, then dry it right away. Never in the dishwasher. It ships already oiled and waxed. Rub in some food-grade mineral oil from time to time. It feeds the wood and keeps it from cracking. Do it more often at first, then a few times a year.

What it's for

Cutting, chopping, slicing. It also makes a great serving board for charcuterie or cheese, and plenty of people just leave it out on the counter because it looks good.

Shipping

For all orders placed, the delivery time is approximately 3 to 6 business days. As soon as the package is handled by Canada Post, a tracking number will be sent to you by email.

Delivery times may be longer during busy periods, such as the holiday season. Please plan your purchases accordingly if you wish to give one of our products as a gift.

In addition, all our packages are insured for a value of up to $100 in case of damage or loss during delivery.

Return

You have 10 business days to return an item from the date of receipt. However, items must be intact and in the same condition as when delivered. Items must also be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.Shipping fees will then be at your expense and are not refundable by Créations Gueule de Bois.

Refund

After receiving your package, a confirmation will be sent to you by email. We will then process your claim request and you will be notified of the final decision within 5 business days. If your request is approved, you will be refunded to the original payment method. This credit may take a few days to become available, depending on your card issuer's policy.

No returns or refunds will be accepted after 10 days from the date of purchase, unless the product is defective. In this case, please send an explanatory email with proof to the following address : commande@creationsgueuledebois.ca
