How do I know my order was received?

You will automatically receive a confirmation email as soon as we receive your order. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your junk mail folder. If the problem persists, email us at info@creationsgueuledebois.ca with your name, phone number and the items ordered.

How long does shipping take?

Your order will be delivered within 3 to 6 business days. A tracking number will be emailed to you as soon as it ships. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day.

Do you ship outside Quebec?

Yes! We ship everywhere in Canada. Delivery times may vary by destination. For any question about shipping outside Quebec, contact us at info@creationsgueuledebois.ca.

Where can I buy your products in store?

Our products are available at more than 40 retailers across Quebec. See our “Points of sale” page to find the retailer nearest you.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), debit cards through Shop Pay, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.

Can I return a product?

You have 10 business days from the date of receipt to make a return. Items must be intact, in their original condition and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are not refundable.

How do refunds work?

Once we receive your return, we will send you a confirmation email. Your request will be processed within 5 business days. If approved, the refund goes back to your original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, the credit may take a few extra days to appear.

What if my item is damaged, lost or missing?

We take great care preparing every order. If a problem still occurs, let us know within 24 hours of receiving the package at info@creationsgueuledebois.ca. Photos may be requested to process your claim.

What makes your products different?

All our products are handmade, one by one, in our Val-d’Or workshop in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Our vegetable oils are certified organic. No chemical agent is used as a stabilizer, which is why our products may show slight variations in colour, texture or scent from one batch to another. These variations are normal and reflect the handcrafted nature of each product.

Are your products tested on animals?

Absolutely not. None of our products are tested on animals. The only beards we test on are our own!

What is beard oil and what does it do?

Beard oil is a fully liquid product made from a blend of certified organic vegetable oils (argan, jojoba, sweet almond, etc.) and fragrance. It mainly targets the skin under the beard: it deeply moisturizes, soothes itching and dryness, and leaves the beard softer and silkier.

What is beard balm and how is it different from oil?

Balm contains the same vegetable oils as the oil, with beeswax and natural butters added (shea, cocoa or mango depending on the formula). This gives it a solid texture that melts in your hands. While oil targets the skin, balm works more on the hair: it moisturizes and protects it, and helps keep the beard in place while taming stray hairs.

Can I use oil and balm together?

It’s actually recommended! Apply the oil first to moisturize the skin and let it absorb for a moment. Then apply the balm to protect the hair and shape your beard. The two products work perfectly together.

What is the difference between beard shampoo and regular shampoo?

Regular shampoo is designed for hair and scalp: it is often too harsh for facial skin and can dry out your beard. Our beard shampoo is a liquid soap saponified from certified organic vegetable oils (olive, coconut, jojoba, hemp) to clean deeply while preserving the natural moisture of your beard and the skin underneath.

Can I use your products on a short beard or stubble?

Absolutely! Beard oil is especially helpful in the first days, since that is often when itching and dryness show up. The sooner you start caring for your beard, the better the results.

How long does a bottle of oil or a tin of balm last?

With daily use, a bottle of oil (30 ml) usually lasts 4 to 8 weeks depending on beard length. A tin of balm lasts about the same. A few drops of oil or a small amount of balm is enough for each application.

What if my balm feels grainy?

No worries! Small crystals can form in balm: it is a completely normal reaction of shea butter, a natural ingredient. It does not affect the quality of the product. Once the balm is warmed between your hands, the crystals melt and it becomes smooth again.

Which fragrances do you offer?

We offer six signature fragrances, each with its own character: Panoramix (noble woods: mahogany, teak and oak), Merlin (bergamot, yuzu, cedar), Gandalf (citrus, floral and woody freshness), Leduc (bergamot and pine), Loki (black raspberry and gourmand vanilla) and Ragnar (spicy woods with sandalwood and cinnamon). Each fragrance is available as beard oil, balm, shampoo and soap.

How do I choose the right fragrance?

It all depends on your taste! Here is a quick guide:

• Love classic noble woods? Panoramix, with mahogany, teak and oak, is made for you.

• Looking for something exotic? Merlin and its notes of yuzu, bergamot and cedar will surprise you.

• Like fresh and clean? Try Gandalf, with notes of citrus, iris, jasmine and fir.

• Into citrus and freshness? Leduc, with bergamot and pine, is your pick.

• Prefer sweet and gourmand? Loki and its notes of black raspberry and vanilla will be perfect.

• Want a bold, spicy scent? Ragnar, with sandalwood and cinnamon, won’t disappoint.

Which ingredients do you use?

Our vegetable oils are certified organic and chosen for their nourishing properties for skin and beard: argan, jojoba, sweet almond, grapeseed, apricot, hemp, castor and meadowfoam, enriched with vitamin E. Our balms add coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax and other natural butters. The full list is shown on each product page.

Do your products contain allergens?

Our products contain nut oils (argan, coconut, sweet almond), beeswax (in the balms) and fragrances. If you have known allergies, check the full ingredient list on each product page or contact us before buying.

Why does the colour or texture of my product vary from batch to batch?

Our products are handmade in small batches, without chemical stabilizers. Slight variations in colour, texture or scent from one batch to another are therefore normal. The quality and effectiveness of the product stay the same.

Is my personal information protected?

Absolutely. The privacy of your information is paramount to us. Your personal data will never be shared with third parties. We comply with Quebec’s Law 25 on the protection of personal information and are committed to protecting your privacy.
