Confirmation of your order

You will automatically receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your order. Otherwise, please send an email to the following address: commande@creationsgueuledebois.ca indicating your name, telephone number and the items ordered.

Processing of commands

Orders will be processed in order of receipt. We do our best to ensure orders are shipped quickly. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.

Shipping

You will receive your order within 3 to 6 business days. Orders will be delivered by Canada Post. A tracking number will also be sent to you by email.

Item damaged, lost and/or missing

We take great care when preparing your order. If, however, a product were to go missing or an incident should occur, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt of the package at the following address: commande@creationsgueuledebois.ca. Photos may then be required.

You have 10 working days to return an item from the date of receipt. However, the items must be intact and in the same condition as when delivered. Items must also be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. Shipping costs will then be your responsibility and are not refundable by Créations Gueule de Bois.

Reimbursement

When we have received your return, a confirmation will be sent to you by email. We will then process your claim request and you will be notified within 5 business days of the final decision. If your request is approved, you will be refunded to the original payment method. This credit may take a few days to become available, depending on your card issuer's policy.

Selection of ingredients

We select the best ingredients to make all our products. These are chosen based on their usefulness in addition to the many benefits they will provide to your skin as well as your beard. Créations Gueule de Bois only uses organic and natural ingredients. No chemical ingredients are used as stabilizers, which is why our products may have some variations in color, texture and fragrance. Rest assured that each product is designed with the greatest care and with the best ingredients available.

The confidentiality of our customers' private information is paramount. We have the greatest respect for your privacy. Under no circumstances will your information be shared with third parties.

What is beard oil?

Oil is a completely liquid product, usually made from 2 types of oil: organic and essential. The main benefits of organic oils are to nourish the beard and moisturize the skin. Essential oils, for their part, allow products to be flavored.

The oil mainly targets the skin below the beard. Its softening effect makes the beard silkier and its moisturizing power relieves itching and dryness of the skin. 

What is beard balm?

The balm is also made from a blend of organic and essential oils. Other ingredients are added to these oils such as beeswax and different butters (shea, cocoa).The mixture of these quality ingredients makes all the difference, makes the products unique in addition to giving them a solid appearance. However, the balm melts very easily in the hands as soon as it is warmed. It is therefore as easy to apply as beard oil.

The balm further targets the hairs by providing instant hydration and acts as a protective barrier. It will also help to gently hold the shape of the beard in place while taming flyaway hairs.

It is recommended to use the oil and balm together when caring for the beard. Simply apply the oil first, giving it time to be absorbed, and then apply the balm.

What to do if the texture of my balm is grainy?

Small granules may be visible in the beard balm. There is nothing to worry about! This does not mean that the product is of poor quality, quite the contrary! This is simply a normal reaction when using shea butter. As soon as your balm is warmed, the crystals will melt and the shea butter will regain its smoothness.
